Sarah Owens is a communications and marketing professional born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She majored in Sociology at the University of New Orleans (now LSU New Orleans), where she developed a deep interest in community engagement and human behavior. With more than a decade of experience in radio and television advertising, she has built a strong foundation in storytelling, audience connection, and strategic messaging.
She recently transitioned into her current role as Marketing Coordinator for Bossier Federal Credit Union, where she leads member-focused campaigns, digital strategy, and brand development.
Her work blends creativity, data-driven insight, and a passion for serving the community — making her a dynamic voice in modern credit union marketing. As Communications Chair of AAF Shreveport-Bossier, she brings that same strategic storytelling lens to the federation's member and community communications.
